In 2010, Pakistan was hit by one of the worst floods in its history. Relief efforts were not enough and we still needed to work hard to provide victims with food, medicines, water, clothes, and shelter.
PIHR, in collaboration with Payaam Trust, hosted an Aftaar/Dinner at Edhi Homes, H-8 Islamabad on 13th August 2011.
At a ceremony held on 25th of August 2011 at PIHR Head Quarter, Islamabad, Chairperson PIHR awarded interns of International Islamic University (IIU) BS Sociology Programme with PIHR Volunteer and Experience Certificates.
PIHR has become the Sector Member of the International Telecom Union (ITU), which is the United Nations specialized agency for Information and Communication Technologies(ICTs). ITU is committed to connecting all the world’s people – wherever they live and whatever their means are.
PIHR in collaboration with International Labour Organization (ILO) has launched another project namely “Gender Equality 4 Decent Employment”. This project focuses on the use of modern ICT skills and technologies to enable women to earn a decent living for themselves and for their families.
